Islamabad: Pakistan People's Party decided not to join the Muslim League (N) government and announced its support to form the government in the National Assembly.
Speaking to the media after the Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of the People's Party, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the political and current situation of the country was discussed in the meeting. The principal decision of the party is to support Pakistan. And to get the country out of crises, we do not have the mandate to form a government in the federation. Cannot present himself as Prime Minister.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Independent Group and (N) League have more numbers than us, PTI has announced that it will not dialogue with PP, and PTI has shown that it cannot form the government. People's Party has decided not to take ministries in the federal government, People's;, they do not want to increase political tension in the country.
He said that if the political tension continues, the people will suffer the most. Pakistan is facing problems like terrorism and climate change. The People's Party participated in the election under a manifesto.
